Since March 2008 we have been advising our customers NOT to lock in to contract cap prices for the 2008-2009 heating season because we felt that prices would drop in the fall. See our NEWS page for more information. Now the prices have indeed dropped! We are pleased to be able to offer our contract customers a CAP price of $3.99 for the 2008-2009 heating season. Other oil delivery companies have been asking customers to lock in at cap prices from $4.59 to $5.79 because they purchased their oil futures contracts when the prices were still high. Ranco is pleased to have predicted this price drop properly and we advise all our customers to lock in their cap price savings now. This CAP is the maximum we can charge this season, and if prices drop further, you will benefit from our price reductions!

Will-Call or Automatic Delivery

Ranco will perform Will-Call oil deliveries, but this puts the burden on the home or business owner to monitor their oil level. If the oil runs dry, we must bleed the system to get it running again, which is a billable service call. We do NOT offer Price Cap to customers using Will-Call Service.

With Automatic Delivery, we guarantee that you will never run out of oil; if we somehow fail to gauge your oil supply correctly we will dispatch a delivery immediately and bleed your system for free. Our scheduling system is so efficient that this rarely occurs.

The Budget Payment Plan (RECOMMENDED FOR 2008-2009 HEATING SEASON!)

Ranco recommends to all our customers that they consider the savings and convenience of our popular yearly Budget Payment Plan. We provide a low guaranteed price for the period up to the end of 2008, and in January we provide a new price based on current rates.

We estimate your heating costs based on last year's consumption, then we can create a 10-month or 12-month plan in which you pay a set amount each month regardless of the actual deliveries that month. If you pay on time, you will save $.25 per gallon over the posted price. This plan not only eliminates unwanted "surprises" but saves you $25 on every 100 gallons you use! 24/7 Repair Service -- "No Heat" Calls for Gas and Oil Systems

Ranco never sleeps! We have emergency technicians available at all hours to handle your furnace repair or service call on a first-come, first served basis. Most problems are solved within a few hours, some may take up to 24 hours. No-one else can service your oil or gas burner problems faster or better than Ranco! We do not contract our service calls out to questionable service providers; all calls are handled by our Peterson School Certified graduates, so that you can have the same confidence in a late-night Sunday repair that you can have with regularly scheduled maintenance.
